Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. partnered with Singapore’s National Research and Education Network (SingAREN) to enhance the security of Singapore’s national research and education network’s digital footprint and cybersecurity defences.
As a provider of high-speed connectivity and data services to various, education, government, and industrial partners, SingAREN aims to bolster security with its high volume of research data exchange.
Securing research data
"Research data is a target for threat actors. As we faced an increasing number of global attacks, we needed better visibility into our attack surface and security posture,” said Prof. Francis Lee Bu Sung, associate professor and president of SingAREN.
SingAREN leverages Check Point Quantum Maestro’s comprehensive visibility into threats and monitors and prevents potential security breaches. It also enhanced traffic performance and increased throughput despite increasing volumes of data. Check Point's AI-powered threat intelligence and reporting capabilities enable collaborative security workflows among its members.
